A collaboration with Natalie Eslick

I sit by her, hand on heart.

I breathe in, and 

  she retreats, 

       building energy, 

               a gentle repose, 

                       a vital fullness, 

                               a evanescent pause.

                                     I breathe out, and 

                                she rushes forward, 

                         bathing me in devotion, 

                 I am cherished in her power, 

         my angst discharged,

   my ails soothed.

I sit by her, hand on heart,

And so we embrace again.

is an Australian Fine Artist and Creativity Guide specializing in deepening our relationship with the natural world through intricate nature-inspired fine art and soul-nourishing creative courses.

Natalie and I have crossed paths in more ways than one. She collected A Geology of Color way back in July 2021. We both found ourselves in a group program and then again on Substack. To say we are kindred spirits, I think, would be an understatement. Our conversation was about grief but also light in connection.
