For when you need something more than surface-level ideas
The bridge between a dream and reality
Dear reader,
This Tuesday, I’m sharing early access to a new project. This project has been on my mind for nearly a year now. I’m beyond excited to share it. This moment feels reminiscent of times when I show my sister or best friends something new. And can’t wait to divulge to you all the details soon.
At the same time, it would be entirely disingenuous not to include how I find sharing new ideas incredibly scary. When dreams find a bridge into reality, they suddenly need to make sense. They need to defy what makes them amorphous. Logistics can quickly become more important than the idea. This causes us to lose sight of the dream itself.
When I recently asked myself why now? Why suddenly does this project matter? I spent a few minutes before remembering my very own dream. I reminded myself that this project is important to me because it seeks to counterbalance chronic anxiety and uncertainty for the future. This project celebrates the tactile nature of physical experiences as a tool to help regulate those emotions — a tool that was/is a wholesome part of my own small joys.
I envision this project filling you with anticipation and delight. Inspiring you during the times when you need something more than surface-level ideas. And bringing you endless possibilities.
As I launch this project over the next month, every week (and probably every day), I will be affirming the why behind my dream. Writing small notes of encouragement to myself. Asking for love and support from my closest people. I believe in this project. I can’t wait to celebrate it with you.
Warmly,
Lauren
