To my friend,
I’m sending along some scenes I’ve captured with my paper viewfinder over the past few weeks. I usually have it in tow when I walk forest pup. Letting him explore as I explore, too. It’s been peaceful, moments of presence and time to just observe.
I shared recently that I’ve come to find meaning in my paper viewfinder both literally and metaphorically. I started better cataloging some of my thoughts - which morphed into a mini-lecture series.
This mini-lecture is like an audio class. Its message is for you to explore your paper viewfinder and leverage it as a tool to find your creative practice fundamentals. I’ll share how I use the viewfinder to narrow my attention, to check my biases and manage self-judgment, and identify and move in the direction of my values. At the end of the mini-lecture, you’ll be provided guidance in finding your own creative practice values.
I’m uploading the lecture to my website and it will be ready for you on Monday, August 14. In the meantime, keep collecting moments. And exploring the world.
Warmly,
Lauren
P.S. I always love hearing from you, so if you’ve explored your paper viewfinder, please leave a comment (+ image) below.
