Hello dear friend,

I have been longing for this moment. Once again your roaring waves soothe my frazzled nerves and drown out the world around us, making me feel like we are alone together at last. The sun sitting at the edge of our universe warms my skin as I dig my toes loosely in your golden sandy sands. A cool salty breeze gently graces my features as I sit here with my eyes closed, my mind lost in our shared tranquility. Our guard, the tall and formidable rocky cliff stands next to us so that we can share our confidences without being overheard. I dare not speak as you once again tumble back and forth, sharing your wisdom with me today. I come here day after day, week after week, month after month, and yet you are always the same. Playful when I am happy, turbulent when I am wrong, and gentle when I need you the most. You listen when no one else does. Judgment does not seem to exist here with you and for that, I am forever grateful. You restore what earlier was all but lost. Children's laughter nearby down the beach interrupts our conservation but in the best way possible. I forget sometimes how even when you are taking time to comfort me, you are also taking time to play with others. I love that about you. Your love and kindness knows no bounds. You are endless and yet you are here. In this moment, I am happy. The sun begins to set below now and as the stars come out to play, I am reminded I am needed elsewhere. Please know my time with you is cherished and never forgotten. Thank you again, dear friend. Until tomorrow.......
