I love a good list of book recommendations from you, Lauren 🥰
Have you read Four Thousand Weeks by Oliver Burkemann? I haven't started it yet, but I already love his newsletter, and I think it would be a great supplement to some of the things you wrote here.
Also, I am not buying anything from Musk haha so much backlash at the moment in Germany
Thank you! Yes, I have read Four Thousand Weeks. It had less of an impression on me, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t like it and it’s not worth reading. It could have very much been influenced by me when I read it. Is he on Substack? Would love to read his newsletter.
I can’t wait to read the article you linked. And please know I did not forget about collaborating. I wrote this piece late last night as I just mentally move through launching my art prints. I should have something for you this week. Sending love!
No, it is on his website. As I said, I have yet to read the book, but I like his newsletter. No rush, Lauren, about notes to self. Whenever you get time :) Excited about our collab! Happy Sunday 🖤
I really like the prints, and when i say they are so retro I mean it as a compliment<3
currently can’t afford but am imagining a motivational combo at the wall across from my desk: „why wait“ and „do it“.
I have thought about a print shop of some of my poster designs for a while and would love if to see how it unfolds for you in the future if you feel inclined to share.
This means so much to me — and love that my prints feel retro to you! I hope you can thing them into your space one day soon. I have shared a lot about the process on my blog, Side-b (www.laurensauder.com/side-b-project). It’s a space I’ll definitely continue writing about <3
Love the light! Don’t love the robot idea. Crazy to think of how much of our lives are already controlled by AI. Not a fan, gotta say!
It’s such a fascinating discourse. And truly interesting how we’re replacing our human bodies in moments to experience.
So glad you loved the light. The color was just too awe-striking.
